Gardens by the Bay

Gardens by the Bay

The Gardens by the Bay are probably the most famous landmark in Singapore. The Gardens by the Bay, a waterfront national garden composed of three areas, 101 hectares in total, has quickly become the nation’s new landmark as well as the top tourist destination.
The lighting design concept for the gardens was developed by Lighting Planners Associates, and attracts night-time visitors who want to experience its dramatic yet sensitive composition of lighting elements based on the idea of “entertainment via organic lighting“.

Together with Lighting Planners Associates, PLDC will offer three guided walking tours through the gardens, including the Cloud Forest and Flower Dome conservatories. Three groups with up to 15 people each will be accompanied by a staff member of LPA and tour the premises. Attendees will have the chance to ask questions and gain inside information on the lighting installations planned by LPA.

The tours will take place on Thursday, 25. October, 2018, and start at 18.45. The tours will last approximately one and a half hours. Please come to the meeting point (PLD Alliance lounge, opposite the registration counter inside the exhibition area) on time and don’t forget to pick up your badge beforehand.

The excursion is fully booked.
