PLDC will again offer a series of tightly focussed moderated discussions on some of the main topics related to the conference, plus additional topics of interest. Lighting designers, architects, experts from the lighting industry, and clients are invited to discuss cutting-edge approaches, research findings, and the questions – and answers – they give rise to.
The discussions are moderated by Joachim Ritter, Editor-in-Chief of the Professional Lighting Design online platform and initiator of PLDC, and supported by experts from the respective topic-related field.
The defined topics for PLDC 2018 are:
The new relationship between architects and lighting designers – 26. October, 13:00
Surviving with a design practice – 26. October, 13:30
Unexpected responses to lighting experiences – 27. October, 13:00
Smart lighting vs. human lighting – 27. October, 13:30
The moderated discussions are free-of-charge and open for all to attend. They take place during the lunch breaks in the PLD Alliance lounge, located in the manufacturers’ exhibition area.
Discuss with Michael Beckert and Tapio Rosenius how architects and lighting designers can collaborate far more effectively; join this Moderated Discussion and see if you are on the same page.
